Castle Street Flowers is a relatively new business, situated at the bottom of Castle Street in Farnham. We offer you the best variety in fresh cut stem flowers, plants, topiary trees, flower arrangements, bouquets, vases, sundries and last but not least a friendly and personal service.

Our flowers come direct from two suppliers in Holland, ensuring that the flowers are as fresh as can be but at the same time the best value they can be. Ligustrum Jonandrum is very similar to common boxus, however is much quicker growing and has harder and more wood like branches. Ligustrums a close relative to common privet. It is a hardy tree, producing small white flowers in the summer and small black fruits in the autum.

Ligustrum care

Position:
Ligustrums can with stand full sun or are quite happy in partial shade.

Watering:
ligustrum need moderate watering in their growing period (may – oct) however in the winter only need watering one or twice every 6 weeks.
Clipping:
ligustrum trees need cutting about once every 6 weeks, just in the growing period. Simply just cut the end of any new shoots, the plant will then not grow from where you have cut.

Re potting:
Ligustrums need repotting every 2-3 years.. Make sure the pot is well drained.
Feeding:
Ligustrum need feeding once every six or so weeks. Only feed durin in the growing period.
